A few hours of your time each week (or even one or two times a month) can mean the difference in maintaining independence for our elders and persons with disabilities. Volunteers provide assistance with one or more tasks depending on their interests, skills, and availability. Tasks could include light housework, laundry, yard work, providing transportation to important medical appointments and to complete important tasks, shopping, moving and minor home repair. Are you short on time and unable to commit to an on-going volunteer assignment? Register to be on the on-call list for one time service requests. Note: volunteers who drive as part of their volunteer task receive mileage reimbursement.Read More
