Catholic Community Services Community Foster Care Program actively recruits and licenses married couples and single adults who are willing to open their hearts and homes and provide temporary care for local foster children. Some children need a home for one day, others one week, and still others may need care for a year or more. No matter how long or short they are in your home, they will stay in your heart forever.
Our foster children range in age from newborn to 18 and are from diverse ethnicities and family backgrounds. Our children are not all the same and therefore our foster families each provide for different types of children. Some families work with teens, some work with infants and toddlers, some work with sibling sets, some are skilled at working with medically fragile children and still others work with children who have special needs. During the licensing process we assess the talents, skills and desires of each family to ensure the best possible match.
Foster care families are needed in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Cowlitz, Clark, Mason, and Kitsap Counties.
