Seattle Community Outreach Program and Engagement (SCOPE) is a collaboration between Starbucks, United Way and CCS to build connections with community members experiencing homelessness through support and engagement. Seattle is one of five cities that are hosting this one year pilot program.
Two CCS staff work in tandem to provide outreach, resources and referrals to fifteen Starbucks stores and their surrounding community. Referrals include food, clothing, shelter, housing, transportation, mental health support, substance abuse treatment, workforce development, identification/documentation and benefits enrollment as well as resources geared for veteran and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Thank you E Olive Way Starbucks for hosting a special pop up event for SCOPE! CCS staff had the opportunity to share about this amazing pilot to Starbucks customers and its impact!
