CHS/CCS Martha’s Place is the first Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) in Skagit County, 70 homes for people with very low incomes who have been documented as chronically homeless. CHS Testimonials

“Everything worked out for the best. This is home. This place is a godsend.” – Resident, Martha’s Place

“To know that I can come home to my own bed is huge—to have my own space to reflect on my life. Over time I’ve come to embrace who I am—to learn it’s okay to have mental health issues—we each have something as we go … I found it’s okay to ask for help. I really appreciate and thank everyone here. There is real peace and healing in this place. I hope others can find it here too.” – Resident, Martina Apartments

“We partnered with CCS/CHS because we know you bring dignity, professionalism, and care to everything you do.” – Mayor Jill Boudreau, City of Mount Vernon

“I’ve never met a group of people like this. You can feel they care—it just radiates off them.” – Resident, Martha’s Place

“This is independent living. This is your home. We’re here for you if you need anything.” – CCS Case Worker, Permanent Supportive Housing
