Homeless Outreach Services

A separate branch of CREW behavioral health services, the Homeless Outreach team provides support to homeless adults in South King County and to Families in Shelter throughout the County. Outreach Specialists offer community based outreach and engagement services to people who are living in homelessness, primarily in the areas of Federal Way, Kent, Burien, Renton, Kirkland and Tukwila. Outreach Specialists will meet people literally where they are at and assist with identifying needed resources and make linkages for housing, health care, and benefits wherever possible.

Services are prioritized for people who have had frequent inpatient hospitalizations and/or incarcerations over the last year. Staff work to identify the needs of individuals and provide information and referrals to needed services such as housing, inpatient substance use treatment, and long term behavioral health counseling.

The team of specialists includes:

  • Mental Health Professionals
  • Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee
  • Certified Peer Counselor
  • Registered Nurse
  • Psychiatric Providers

Outreach services are made possible in partnership with the Seattle King County Public Health Department and the HealthCare for the Homeless Network.
