According to the 2016 Point In Time Report, 58% of unsheltered veterans counted in Snohomish County were chronically homeless.
CCS’ Sebastian Place is set to open in the summer of 2016. The new 20-unit permanent housing complex is the first of its kind in Snohomish County serving chronically homeless veterans.
Partnering with Snohomish County and the Veterans Administration, CCS will provide supportive services to the residents, with a focus on long-term stability.
Each unit has a bedroom, bathroom, living area with a kitchen. The complex also includes a central community building, with a larger kitchen and meeting areas for meet-ups.
Each 350 square-foot room will include two chairs, a three-shelf bookshelf and a bedbug-resistant bed. Sebastian Place was blessed with generous donors offering welcome basket supplies for the new residents.
