Responsibilities:

SHIBA is an acronym for State Health Insurance Benefits Advisor. As a SHIBA, you receive training to help you explain what Medicare is, and does, for those over age 65. You assist people who are just enrolling or those who have issues understanding how the process works. If understanding complicated subjects and being able to explain them in simpler terms to others appeals to you, this is the perfect volunteer job.

Note- You must be at least 55 to qualify for this volunteer job.
