Farmworker Center
The CCS Farmworker Center provides a welcoming place for Skagit Valley Indigenous/Latinx families to connect with educational and community resources and receive support to become effective advocates for their community’s needs. The Farmworker Center also provides a venue for cultural expression, enabling the entire community to benefit through the creation and exhibition of artistic works and celebrations.

PLAZA COMUNITARIA
Adult Education Center
- Classes in basic Spanish literacy, primary and secondary education
- Literacy classes for all levels
- Teachers and volunteers offer help each step of the way
- Participants can obtain their primary and secondary education certificates directly from Mexico upon completion of studies at the Plaza Comunitaria.

- Rental and utility assistance related to impact of COVID-19 (eligibility requirements)
- Small, one-time financial assistance to stabilize Indigenous/Latinx households
- Resource and service referrals
- Referrals for legal services related to immigration including Catholic Immigration Legal Services and Tenant and Family Law
- Baby baskets and baby showers for new parents
- Diapers for babies at Immaculate Conception Church (Mount Vernon) distribution. Please call Farmworker Center for more information.
Art Studio for Children
Lead by talented experienced local artists
- Children develop their creativity and learn how to express themselves through art
- They learn leadership skills
- They participate in fun afterschool activities
