Katharine’s Place

Katharine’s Place provides 25 units of low-income family housing in Seattle’s Rainier Valley, with some units set aside for families with special needs.  Fifteen (15) units are subsidized by Seattle Housing Authority and are designated as permanent housing units for homeless families with children.  These units are filled solely through Coordinated Entry for All, and so Katharine’s Place Apartments no longer maintains the wait list for these units.  Click here to visit the Coordinated Entry for All website.

The remaining ten (10) units are non-subsidized, rent-restricted units. Some of these units are reserved for families with special needs, including families in which one or more household members is disabled, and large families of four (4) or more.  Additional criteria including meeting applicable income limits, eligible citizenship status and passing a criminal background check.  The waiting list for these ten (10) non-subsidized, rent-restricted units at Katharine’s Place is currently closed.

Applicants already on the wait list are responsible to check in regularly to save their spot and to inform Katharine’s Place staff of any changes to their contact information or household conditions. To check in, please call (206) 722-0717.
