Nido Familiar/Family Nest Pregnancy and Parenting Support
Nido Familiar/Family Nest (PrePS) is a multicultural program serving diverse families in the Seattle-King County area. PrePS promotes the health and well-being of women, children and families through case management, education and supportive services. We employ a holistic service delivery model to achieve healthy pregnancy and birth outcomes and ensure a safe and nurturing home environment that facilitates healthy social and emotional development for each child.
Please note, Nido Familiar – PrePS is unable to accept referrals through June 30th.

Volunteer
We are a non-profit with the mission to help families and their children.
We currently need assistance with:
Clothing Closet organization and assisting families during open hours.
Assistance with weeding and growing our program garden, which benefits the families we serve.
Volunteer hours are Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Sorting Donations, Diapers and Wipes
Help us organize and sort donations to make it easier for our families to find what they need.
Stocking the Baby Boutique
We need volunteers to stock and prepare our Baby Boutique for visitors.
Working in the
Community Garden
If gardening is your specialty, we can use your help to keep our garden growing.
Donation Requests
High-need items for children:
- Car seats: convertible car seats
- We accept used car seats in good and clean condition that have never have been in an accident. Please check expirations dates (located in the back or underneath).
- Toddler Clothing (size 2t-5t)
- Diapers sizes 4-6
- Wipes
- Formula
- Baby hygiene (lotion, body soap, etc.)
- Blankets
High-need items for parents:
- Cleaning supplies (detergent, dish soap, toilet paper)
- Hygiene (soap, lotion, sanitary pads, deodorant, shampoo, post-partum supplies, etc.)

Nuestros servicios han cambiado a online/virtuales, que incluyen:

- Grupo de apoyo semanal para mujeres y padres.
- Asistencia financiera para ayudar a mantener estabilidad.
- Referencia de recursos
- Apoyo material (ropa, pañales, toallitas y otros artículos si son disponibles) será recogido solo con cita previa
