Children’s Crisis Stabilization Services
Brief services (14 days) are designed to achieve stabilization with families in crisis in order to avoid unnecessary psychiatric hospitalizations. During the 14-day crisis stabilization period, CCS provides an array of in-home support services including crisis response, safety/crisis assessment and treatment services. Through a wraparound framework, extended family, community and natural resources are combined with more traditional mental health services to bring about safety, stabilization, and community integration. Services are available twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week.
