On All Souls Day, Nov. 2nd, CCS/CHS hosted an Annual Day of Remembrance service for residents, clients, staff and friends of CCS/CHS who passed away in the last year.
Fr. Magnano, pastor at Christ Our Hope, gave a reflection and staff participated in readings. Together we created a beautiful and sacred space inside the Josephinum at Christ Our Hope honoring the clients, staff, and friends we lost over the past year.
This year we read 79 names. We celebrated their lasting impact on our communities by naming each individual and lighting a candle in their memory. As the excerpt from our closing reading by Debi Gliori stated, “love, like starlight, never dies.”
The love we have for those individuals will be carried in our hearts now and always. Thank you to all who participated and attended. We look forward to growing the event even more in the coming years.
