Responsibilities:
Mom needs your help! Or maybe it’s Dad. If you knew your parent was in a situation where some help was needed, you’d do it wouldn’t you?
In either case, we have elderly clients who can use a hand with household chores on a regular basis. Helping with this enables them to stay in their home and maintain a sense of independence and dignity. You would do things like vacuum, run the dishwasher, or do a load of laundry. If they have a yard, you might help with mowing the grass.
The schedule is decided on by you and the client and most volunteering takes only a couple of hours on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. You’re matched with someone in your neighborhood.
This is your chance to help a neighbor maintain their dignity and independence. Sign up today!
